Recently I bought another wonderful Manorama publication in the series, Tell Me Why. It is, HERITAGE SITES IN INDIA. A lot of interesting information with a lot of color photos makes it a must for any book-collector. Its low price is another attraction; it costs only Rs.20/-. Though this series is meant for children, adults also would love it.
It contains info like what makes a place, a Heritage Site; hot it is decided etc etc.
I am giving below a list of UNESCO Heritage Sites in India:
1. Agra Fort
2. Ajantha Caves
3. Ellora Caves

I have browsed the Net and have read about many of the places in details and have seen some beautiful pictures. Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia, as usual gives info with color photos about Heritage Sites in India, the link to that is given below: Interestingly, it also provides links to individual sites which is even more beautiful.
