In this first video of the series, we see how unraveling the nuances of a simple geometry question can lead to integrals, derivatives, and the fundamental theorem of calculus.

Grateful thanks to 3Blue1Brown and YouTube.

WORDS OF WISDOM

The aim of education should be to convert the mind into a living fountain, and not a reservoir.

That which is filled by merely pumping in, will be emptied by pumping out.

In this video I will show you what you should expect to know before starting your chapter on Applications of Trigonometry.  In applications of trigonometry we will explore solving trigonomtric word problems, law of sines, cosines, vectors, parametric and polar equations.  To prepare for this chapter we will begin by solving for missing values given  parallel lines and a transversal.  Move to finding the missing side and angle of right triangles and end with identifying the angle and length between two points.

I make short, to-the-point online math tutorials. I struggled with math growing up and have been able to use those experiences to help students improve in math through practical applications and tips.

If I helped you in this video, I would love to have you subscribe.

I believe everyone can learn math and it doesn't have to be a struggle. There are three things everyone learning math needs. A belief you can learn math, deliberate practice and a coach for guidance. For more helpful tips and tricks visit my website.
